Known for making sound investments and turning investment properties at sizeable profits, Castellan Real Estate Partners is co-managed by John Salib. With more than $50 million in loans closed just in the beginning of 2017, John Salib’s Castellan Real Estate Partners is a firm to watch on New York’s competitive real estate investment scene.

Highlights of Castellan’s early 2017 success include the refinancing through its lending division, Castellan Capital, of a mixed-use property in the Bronx worth $18 million as well as a refinance loan of $15 million for a luxury condominium construction project in progress in Hampton Bays, New York. Loans closed around the $7-to-8-million mark involved the sale of a retail property in downtown Brooklyn and the refinancing of a multifamily development in Queens that will enable it to complete construction.
The firm is adept at rapidly underwriting and closing loans on transitional properties, noted Castellan Senior Managing Director Michael Mostoff. It continues to expand its lending program and bridge loans in prominent real estate markets outside of New York City.
